Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist - Part-time Location: Joondalup, WA Hours: 2 days per week to start - scope to grow We’re looking for a hands-on designer who knows their way around print as well as pixels. If you love turning briefs into impactful, on-brand creative and you’re comfortable supporting marketing activity, we’d love to hear from you. Essential criteria The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role: • 3 years’ experience in graphic design, ideally in-house, agency or print. • Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills with a sharp eye for layout, typography and brand consistency. • Solid print and pre-press knowledge. • Working knowledge of key social platforms and content best practices. • Knowledge of Canva, however, Adobe is your main toolkit. • Confident communication, excellent organisation and the ability to work both independently and in a team. What you’ll be designing Focused on Worldwide Joondalup’s client projects: • Creating high-quality graphics and visual content using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva. • Delivering general graphic design projects for Joondalup’s client base. • Preparing and setting up jobs for accurate print output. How you’ll support our marketing Supporting Worldwide Joondalup’s social media activity in collaboration with our National Marketing Team: • Scheduling and growing our Centre’s social media accounts. • Designing creative assets for local area marketing and social posts. • Contributing new ideas to boost engagement, visibility and brand awareness. How the role will grow This role starts at 2 days per week with scope to expand into broader client-facing design and marketing work: • Managing and growing social media presence for Joondalup’s client accounts. • Designing creative assets for campaigns, branding projects and online promotions.
