The Role Our Payroll Officer is suited to an experienced payroll professional who values accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality. You will bring confidence in payroll systems and current legislation, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The role also offers flexibility for those seeking part-time hours while contributing to a high-quality payroll function. This is a part-time role, with the payroll week scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The following week is flexible, allowing you to choose your working days. Main Duties Process the end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 130 employees. Ensure compliance with applicable Awards, Fair Work, NES and our Organisations policies. Apply complex provisions including shift penalties, sleepovers, broken shifts, travel time, allowances, and overtime. Assist with end of year reporting and audit requirements, including NDIS and grant-funded programs. Facilitate employee salary packaging with both the provider and in line with the ATO and not-for-profit regulations. Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate employee records in payroll and MYOB systems. Selection Criteria Certificate IV in Payroll Administration, Accounting or similar qualification is desirable Strong knowledge of the SCHADS Award and community services payroll requirements Experience administering salary packaging and not-for-profit benefits Experience with Xero, MYOB or industry specific platforms highly desirable High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
