Utilise your credit risk experience, quantitative knowledge and commercial acumen to excel in this position. In this role you will Lead the review, challenge and approval of automated credit decisioning strategies across NAB’s Personal and Business Bank. Oversee Line 2 portfolio management activities, ensuring robust monitoring and governance of credit risk exposures. Demonstrate the ability to understand, interpret and convey data insights to make informed decisions. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated through the preparation of committee packs and memos for senior stakeholders outlining credit quality performance and material risks. Exercise a delegated authority to approve automated credit strategy decisions. Be accountable for ensuring credit strategy decisions are fit for purpose, compliant with regulatory standards and demonstrate sound risk management practices. Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of a high-performing credit strategies and oversight team. Collaborate across Line 1 and 2 business units to drive continuous improvement in credit risk outcomes and portfolio performance. Demonstrate excellent stakeholder influencing and communication skills. What you will bring Extensive experience in financial services, consulting or related fields, with deep expertise in credit risk (minimum 12 years) and associated tertiary qualifications. An aptitude for quantitative analysis and ability to understand, interpret and convey data insights. Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing teams. Exceptional communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen with sound judgment and strategic thinking. Advanced problem-solving capabilities and the ability to simplify complex information. Track record of driving outcomes through collaboration, leadership, and risk insight. Knowledge of prudential standards and/ or Banking Code of Practice preferred.
