We're hiring a Level 2 Cleaner at Westfield Liverpool—bring your eye for detail and commitment to excellence to a team that values your work. This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers. Full time position available. Schedule as follows: Wednesday and Sunday: 9:24am – 6:00pm Thursday: 1:24pm – 9:00pm Friday and Saturday: 8:30am – 5:06pm Monday & Tuesday: Off Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and support cleaning staff during shifts. Allocate daily tasks and monitor completion against cleaning schedules. Conduct toolbox talks, shift handovers, and ensure team compliance with site procedures. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new and existing staff. Monitor staff performance and report concerns to the Cleaning Supervisor. Supervise cleaning standards across malls, food courts, restrooms, entries, and back-of-house. Oversee waste management operations (general, recycling, organic) including loading docks. Respond to escalated customer or retailer cleaning requests promptly and professionally. Ensure immediate attention to spills, hazards, and urgent cleaning issues. Support deep cleaning, high dusting, floor scrubbing, and event set-up as required. Ensure all staff follow WHS (Work Health & Safety) policies and wear PPE correctly. Monitor safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Carry out regular safety checks and report hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues. Ensure staff are signed in/out via Beakon and Humanforce as per rostered shift times. About You: Previous experience in a cleaning team leader or supervisory role (retail environment preferred). Strong knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals. Ability to coordinate staff and manage workloads effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physically fit to perform cleaning and supervisory tasks. Flexibility to work shifts Reliable, responsible, and professional. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with commitment to high standards. Positive attitude and ability to motivate a team. Well-presented with a customer-focused approach. You must have valid work rights in Australia.
