Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon Friday: Morning, Afternoon 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $37 - $48 per hour Harvey Medical Group is a well established Medical Group servicing the South West over three locations. We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our team to work in our Waroona clinics on Wednesday and Fridays. The role involves running vaccination clinics, supporting the consulting GP's and admin team as required, triage, immunisation's, dressings and wound care, assisting in minor procedures, chronic disease management & health assessments and managing the recall and reminder system. Essential criteria to be successful in this role: · Current APHRA registration, police clearance and CPR certificate · High level of communication skills with both patients and staff · Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team · Eligibility to work in Australia Desirable criteria to be successful in this role: · Previous experience in a General Practice OR Hospital Setting. · Current SA Health Immunisation certification (training can be provided for the right candidate) Responsibilities include: · Triaging our patients and prioritising emergency situations. · Assisting GP with procedures including excision of lesions, plastering and assessments. · Wound dressings and removal of sutures. · Performing ECGs and other tests such as spirometry · Immunisations & Vaccination clinics. · Health assessments. · Preparation and review of care plans. · Assisting the GP with the management of the annual diabetes & asthma care plans. · Health coaching to support patients with achievement of their health goals.
