The Role We are seeking a reliable Plant Operator to join a busy production facility in Cockburn Central, WA. Working in the manufacturing industry, you'll play a key part in operating machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining workplace safety standards. This is a hands-on role within a supportive team environment, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of machine operation, warehouse tasks, and equipment handling. Key Responsibilities This role is essential to ensuring efficient production and consistent quality outcomes. Your duties will include: Operating production machinery in line with standard operating procedures Performing equipment pre-start checks and calibrations at the beginning of each shift Following production order lists to prepare correct materials for each batch Screening and blending raw materials according to procedure Conducting quality assurance checks and isolating non-conforming products Safely packing, loading, and unloading goods in line with NHVR Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements Operating forklifts, loaders, and telehandlers safely and in line with manufacturer specifications Storing goods and raw materials appropriately to maintain safety and quality Communicating production or machinery issues to supervisors promptly Following all workplace health and safety procedures, reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses Benefits $31.19 per hour plus penalty rates Roughly 3-month initial role with the opportunity for ongoing employment Approx. 40 hours per week with consistent shifts Strong commitment to safety, with all necessary training provided Work in a collaborative team that values efficiency and respect Your Skills & Experience To be successful, you will bring: Previous experience in warehouse or production operations A valid Forklift Licence Physical fitness with the ability to get on/off forklifts regularly and lift up to 20kgs Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures Good communication skills and a proactive attitude Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
