Job Description As a Claims Consultant within our Group space, you will manage life insurance claims from start to finish, providing a seamless experience for our customers. In this role you will: A key focus of this role involves providing a best-in-class customer and client (e.g. advisers, trustees, fund administrators) experience, including regular communication in relation to the status of claims and managing expectations, to deliver on quality health and claim outcomes. Independently managing a portfolio of Retail Income Protection insurance claims end-to-end Assess, analyse, calculate and finalise claims payments Active engagement of external treating doctors, rehabilitation consultants as well as in house medical and legal specialists and delivering timely outcomes for our customer Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy, policy and claims procedures Participate in case conferences, peer case discussions, and instructing third party service providers
