Key Responsibilities Provide Strategic, Best in Class Procurement Services: Lead the Supply Chain team to implement an effective solution for managing risk and reporting requirements across the supply chain for Office. Develop procurement and supply chain management processes and procedures as needed to meet Charter Hall policies. Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency through procurement activities. Responsible for ensuring human rights and social risks are being addressed to meet Charter Hall’s obligations under the Modern Slavery Act and investor expectations for the Office portfolio. Engaging with the industry in relation Modern Slavery including but not limited to CAF, consultants, peers, and PCA. Work with Group to communicate and manage any breaches as they occur. Accountable for ongoing management, monitoring and reporting of supplier performance and reporting on compliance. Monitor contractor performance and reporting, using insights to enhance performance across the portfolio. Accountable for stakeholder management across National contractors and suppliers. Act as an escalation point for the Operations, Facility Management and Property Management teams for all issues in relation to supply of goods and services. Utilise Charter Hall technology platforms to manage procurement and engagement of our supply chain, to enhance risk management, financial management, reporting and reduction in administration. Ensure the Supply Chain team maintains an up-to-date contractor database containing key supply chain data including but not limited to information on vendors, performance and costs. Ensure our vendors are compliant in terms of insurances, policies, and procedures and WHS requirements, addressing expiries and renewals as required. Liaise with external and internal legal teams and assist with contract negotiations for contracts, consultant agreements etc. Establish and manage a skills matrix and database of preferred vendors with the aim of reducing vendors to a selection of key and trusted providers with shared goals. Establish and maintain a standard suite of documents for the procurement process and work with the Supply Chain team to develop a library of scopes and standards for contracts. Assist the National Lead – Operations and Facilities to drive national projects / initiatives across the office portfolio. Assist key stakeholders to continually improve WHS management processes, systems, tools, and reporting. Collaborate with the National Operations Manager, CBRE WHS&E Manager, Building Technology Program Manager and National Sustainability Operations Manager to ensure there is consistency across the Office portfolio, in line with local legislation where required and in accordance with Charter Hall requirements. Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards throughout the procurement process and in all communication with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain a confidential management of all procurement information (contracts, pricing, conditions etc) and remaining un-biased and impartial in decision making.
