As a Rigger in our Hoist team (installation, service, dismantle), you’ll work with a skilled crew delivering quality equipment and customer solutions, with safety always the top priority. Based out of our Yatala workshop, this role suits candidates from Brisbane or the Gold Coast who are open to travel across SEQ. About the role: Rigging activities, including the prep, installation, maintenance, repair and dismantling of hoists as well as the installation and removal of crane decks. You may even be ready to step up and supervise these activities, whilst still being hands on. Work alongside riggers and electricians to execute safe and effective rigging/electrical operations on different sites between Coolangatta and the Sunshine Coast. Ensure equipment is inspected, serviced, and maintained regularly as per guidelines, including checks, repairs, cleaning, and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation, maintenance, repair or dismantle with the support of our Delivery Manager and team of specialised riggers. Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations while quickly resolving any issues that arise ensuring the highest quality of customer service. What we are looking for: Tickets & Licenses Advanced or Intermediate Riggers Ticket MR/HR license (preferred) Forklift ticket (preferred) Construction White Card Ideally, you’ll have experience in the hoist or crane industry, or a mechanical/structural trades background with rigging experience A strong knowledge of hoist rigging techniques, regulations, industry standards, and mechanical aptitude will be essential to this role! Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and resilience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
