THE ROLE As part of the Commercial and Project teams, the Contracts Administrator will assist in the commercial administration of Contractors and Subcontractors across this multi-million dollar project based in Yatala. This will include: Provide comprehensive contract support across projects, including the management of claims, variations, contractor compliance, and the preparation of Contract Administration plans and registers. Monitor contractor compliance through systems such as Commnia and Gallagher, ensuring valid insurances, licences, and up-to-date management plans are maintained. Support HSE audits and manage contractor breach tracking, along with the development and maintenance of Risk Registers for inclusion in management reporting. Liaise with commercial, finance, procurement, and accounts teams to resolve project issues such as equipment delivery, invoicing discrepancies, and vendor payments. Assist in contractor claim assessments, prepare Payment Certificates, and contribute to project budget reporting, forecasting, and overall financial administration. Manage documentation to meet company standards, assist with report formatting and data extraction, and coordinate general administrative duties including expense and travel management. ABOUT YOU With prior experience in a similar role and coming from a complex construction background, you will be diligent, detailed orientated with strong organisational skills. You will also need: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Law or a related field. Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experienced with Adobe Pro and document control processes. Familiarity with SharePoint and construction project platforms such as Aconex, Asite, or Commnia (desirable).
