Launched in 2017, the platform supports over 400 staff in the Business Grants Hub (BGH) and thousands of external applicants, streamlining the grants lifecycle from creation to closure. About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Lead to oversee testing activities across multiple projects within the Grants Platform team. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that support DISR’s grants programs. You will lead a team of manual and automation testers, define and implement test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams working in Agile/Scrum environments. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, uplift testing capability, and ensure robust quality assurance across the platform. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning Develop and implement test strategies, master test plans, and quality gates Collaborate with stakeholders to define test coverage and estimate testing effort Lead defect triage and risk assessment processes Team Leadership Mentor and manage a team of testers across multiple projects Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous learning Promote best practices and a growth mindset across the testing discipline Automation & Tools Support automation testers in building frameworks using EasyRepro and MSTest (C#) Ensure integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) Evaluate and recommend tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage Test Execution & Reporting Oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing Track and report test progress, defect metrics, and quality KPIs Lead structured forums for defect triage and test strategy reviews Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure adherence to QA standards and compliance requirements Conduct risk assessments and support release decisions Maintain documentation for audits and quality assurance processes Requirements Essential Criteria Minimum 7 years of testing experience in Dynamics 365 CRM/.NET environments, including 3 years in a leadership role Proven ability to define and align test strategies with project goals Demonstrated experience uplifting testing capability across people, process, and tools Strong experience in automation testing and CI/CD integration Proficiency in DevOps tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
