Your opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists within our Corporate Services Directorate for a Building and Facilities Maintenance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out general and minor maintenance tasks on Council-owned properties including community facilities, public amenities, corporate buildings, depots, and various other assets. Your skills and experience: Essential C Class Manual Driver's Licence Current General Construction Induction card (White Card). Demonstrated experience in performing general building maintenance. Physical ability to carry out manual tasks and operate hand and power tools. Sound knowledge of safety practices and ability to follow safe work procedures. Desirable Certificate III in Construction, General Building, Carpentry, or related trade. Efficient use of Microsoft Office suite programs, including mobile devices and software to manage work orders. First Aid Certificate.
