About the role / A snapshot of your new role The Project Administrator will provide efficient administrative and coordination support to the Office of the CEO, in particular the South East Corridor Council Alliance (SECCA) Business Unit, ensuring the delivery of governance, project and advocacy activities. Join the City of Canning on a temporary (12 months), full time basis, and contribute to the professionalism, consistency and responsiveness of SECCA’s operations. A snapshot of your new role: Provide high level and efficient administrative support to the broader Office of the CEO Program. Schedule and organise meetings, forums, workshops and stakeholder engagement (SECCA Mayoral Board, CEO Group, and Task Group) meetings. Assist with project initiatives, preparing briefing notes, and managing correspondence. Develop meeting agendas and record meeting minutes. Support coordination of follow up actions with stakeholders. Track and monitor project timelines, milestones and budget across a range of initiatives. Maintain accurate records and digital files across SECCA projects and governance activities. Maintain databases, contact lists and engagement calendars and website updates. Provide high level and efficient administrative support to the broader Office of the CEO Program. What you will bring to the role: Proven experience in an administrative, project coordination, or executive assistant role Demonstrated ability to provide project and administrative support across multiple projects and work within project management frameworks and practices. Experience in a local government environment (desired). Sound knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office products including Office365, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and cloud-based tools. Ability to work autonomously with problem solving abilities requiring minimal supervision A positive, can-do attitude, with a commitment to fostering collaboration, and maintaining effective working relationships. Willingness to travel across the SECCA Local Governments. Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance. Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Community Development or a related field would be an advantage.
