The Oaks is one of Sydney's most iconic hotels - a local institution that's been around since 1885. Situated in the heart of Neutral Bay, just ten minutes north of the Harbour Bridge, The Oaks offers guests a series of spaces for drinking, dining and socialising. We are currently seeking an experienced Casual Head Cellarman to join our team. We're offering about 38 hours a week. Duties include -Stock requisitions -Ordering -Dealing directly with wholesalers -Assisting the bars with refilling -Assisting with the Cleaning of the beer lines -Receiving stock deliveries -Moving furniture and setting up for functions. To be considered for this role, you must have: 1) a basic understanding of stock management. 2) Knowledge of cellar equipment including taps, pumps, and cooling systems 3) Experience in cellar operations 4) Minimum 2 years of experience in cellar operations within hospitality or brewery environments 5) availability to participate in a 7 day working roster of days, weekends and public holidays 6) RSA certificate required5) Legal right to work in Australia
