The Business Development Manager will drive growth within the Merchandise and Uniforms industry by identifying new opportunities and building strong client relationships. Description Partner with internal sales teams across multiple divisions to support their clients and introduce merchandise and uniform solutions. Lead consultative sales engagements with large corporate clients in healthcare, safety, and other key sectors. Influence senior stakeholders, primarily in operations and procurement, to secure long-term, high-value agreements. Report to the Brand Leader, with a dotted line to the General Manager, ensuring strategic alignment and visibility. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive growth, expand market share, and position the business as a preferred supplier. Build and manage a robust pipeline, deliver tailored proposals, and maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction. Profile Brings solid experience in uniforms and/or merchandise, with a background in business development or account management. Naturally builds trust and rapport with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams and divisions. Demonstrates authenticity, empathy, and strong relationship management skills to connect with people at all levels. Skilled in consultative selling and influencing key decision-makers, particularly in operations and procurement. Confident in developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and long-term client partnerships. Comfortable using CRM and productivity tools to manage pipelines and reporting. Holds a valid driver's licence in either Victoria or New South Wales, and has full work rights.
