Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia's largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. About the Role Based in Tatura, the Catchment Program Coordinator will work within the Catchment Program Team in the Strategy and Services planning division. This permanent role will lead a small team of staff to coordinate the Salinity Management and Subsurface Drainage activities of the Catchment Program Team to deliver Government, Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA), Catchment Management Authority (CMA) and Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) drainage and salinity programs. What you'll do: In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating salinity management and subsurface drainage activities within the Catchment Program team, ensuring projects and advice are delivered in line with funding agreements, and that relevant land and water management principles are upheld. What we're Looking For : Are you passionate about catchment projects and working in a lang-standing regional partnership? If so, we are looking for someone with: A degree relevant to water, science, natural resource management, or extensive relevant industry experience. Advanced knowledge and understanding of land and water management and surface and subsurface hydrology. Highly developed knowledge and understanding of Project Management practices, as well as experience managing a number of both technical and field-based projects.
