About the Role Our client is seeking a motivate d Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Assistant to join our client's team in the renewable energy sector. Based at Pine Lodge (Shepparton VIC), you'll play a key role in supporting the Site HSE Advisor to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient operations on a large-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in safety and compliance who is keen to build their career in the renewable energy and construction industries. Key Responsibilities Assist with maintaining accurate records of pre-starts, safety inspections, incidents, and toolbox talks. Support the Site HSE Advisor with on-site safety inspections and hazard reporting. Help coordinate safety training, inductions, and toolbox sessions. Prepare and organise safety documentation to ensure contractual and legislative compliance. Contribute to the development and testing of emergency response plans. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and safety communications for management and staff. Provide general HSE administrative support, including meeting agendas and minutes. About You Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419 or equivalent) Minimum 1 year of experience in HSE, construction, or project based environments. Strong organisational and documentation skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Eagerness to learn, with a team-focused mindset. Location: Pine Lodge, Shepparton VIC Employment Type: 6 Month Contract
