Overview Role: Social Impact Portfolio Lead Location: Murarrie, Brisbane Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Be a Catalyst for Change – Social Impact Portfolio Lead! This role is to champion Goodstart’s social impact agenda and coordinate high-priority initiatives that shape the future of early learning in Australia. You will work closely with the Chief Impact Officer as a trusted advisor, leading whole-of-portfolio strategy and delivery across thought leadership, public policy, innovation, partnerships, and advocacy. Your Impact In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end strategic coordination and delivery across Goodstart’s Social Impact Portfolio Develop briefing papers, proposals, presentations and executive materials informing Board and Senior Leadership decisions Lead and manage strategic partnerships, advisory programs and stakeholder engagement with syndicate members, philanthropic partners and cross-sector collaborators Surface insights and position Goodstart on key sector trends, risks and policy opportunities Translate complex evidence and systems into clear policy positions, communications, and actionable project plans that inspire change and influence outcomes at scale Represent Goodstart in external forums, amplifying our voice and impact in the sector Act as a catalyst, connector and collaborator to unlock influence, funding and innovation for our social purpose Essential Proven experience advising or supporting senior executives in government, NFP or corporate Demonstrated track record in preparing high-quality Board and executive materials (briefings, presentations, reports) Experience in coordinating strategic agendas and managing multiple projects across teams or portfolios Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and sustain high-trust relationships Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas for diverse audiences Strategic thinking, political acumen and the ability to work independently while effectively engaging executive stakeholders Current Working with Children Check Desirable Tertiary qualifications in public policy, business, governance, education, or a related field Background in advisory or consulting roles focusing on strategic influence and stakeholder engagement Familiarity with human services sectors (such as education or health) and experience working with cross-sector partners to drive collaborative outcomes How To Apply Click ‘Apply Now’ and submit your application.
