Cloud Solutions Architect (Azure) Location: Perth Airport | Type: Contract The Role Our client is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to help shape the future of their Azure environment. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen their cloud capability, modernise existing infrastructure, and ensure the right balance between on-premises and cloud platforms. You’ll work closely with technology leadership and senior stakeholders, advising on architecture, integration pathways, and security frameworks. The role will include Azure remediation, optimisation, and design work, alongside guiding the business on best-practice approaches for cloud adoption, identity and access management, SOC, and resilience. Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver Azure solutions with a focus on scalability, availability, and security. • Provide guidance on hybrid environments, balancing cloud adoption with on-prem requirements. • Work with stakeholders to integrate cloud solutions into existing systems and processes. • Advise on security, compliance, and governance requirements across IT and OT systems. • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure Azure supports business growth and operational resilience. About You You’ll bring at least 5 years’ experience as a Solutions or Cloud Architect, ideally with strong consulting and stakeholder management skills. You should be confident designing Azure platforms, advising on infrastructure optimisation, and ensuring compliance with frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001. You’ll be comfortable translating technical solutions into business outcomes and guiding teams on how to make best use of cloud and hybrid environments. Industry experience in transport, logistics, or infrastructure will be valued, but is not essential.
