You'll be producing detailed plans for a variety of residential projects, from contemporary base model homes to multi-unit developments. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, estimating, and construction teams, ensuring designs are not only stylish but also practical, buildable, and cost-effective. What you'll be doing: Lead the drafting and planning of residential projects using ArchiCAD v27, ensuring high-quality, accurate documentation Develop and refine base model home designs, with scope to influence creative and innovative solutions Prepare comprehensive construction documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details Ensure all designs meet building codes, standards, and council regulations Manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping deadlines on track Work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your input is valued and encouraged Opportunity to expand your role into more design-focused responsibilities as the company grows What you'll bring: Experience working as a Residential Draftsperson - design experience a big plus! Minimum Cert IV in Residential Drafting Fluency with ArchiCAD (v27 is ideal) Full Australian working rights as Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role Confidence handling a variety of home types from single storey homes, double storey and town house designs as well as multi-unit projects Highly detail-oriented, proactive, passionate about accuracy and creating homes that stand out!
