We are seeking experienced Medical Receptionists who are enthusiastic, show initiative, hard-working, organised and flexible. Previous experience in medical rooms or a hospital environment is essential. Reporting to the Practice Manager, the successful candidate/s will be responsible for a broad range of services including, but NOT limited to: Front-line medical administrative service in a professional, caring and efficient manner- greetings patients in person and over the phone. Experience with Best Practice will be highly regarded Ability to work across a 7 day rotating roster is essential Understanding of patient billing, inc. Workcover claims, Medicare item numbers and DVA billing Records Management & data entry General administrative duties as required. Essential Criteria for this job role. Previous experience in medical rooms or hospital environment Current National Police Clearance Current Working With Children Clearance Ability to work across a 6 day rotating roster is essential Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner High work ethic and flexibility with work hours Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise Excellent communication skills – written and verbal High level of computer literacy Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a diverse team and independently High-level attention to detail. Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
