About the Role Are you passionate about shaping the future of community services professionals? We are looking for a dynamic Trainer and Assessor – Community Services to deliver high-quality training for the Diploma of Community Services. In this role, you will guide and mentor students, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions for students undertaking the Diploma of Community Services. Assess student competencies in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning journey. Develop and update training materials to ensure alignment with current industry trends and compliance standards. Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and attendance. Facilitate workplace training and assessment, supporting students during their practical placements. Ensure compliance with ASQA and RTO standards while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. What You Bring: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent. Diploma of Community Services (or higher) or relevant qualification. Demonstrated industry experience in community services, case management, social work, or related sectors. Strong knowledge of the National Standards for RTOs and ASQA compliance requirements. Experience in training, mentoring, or workplace supervision within the community services sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners. Proficiency in using LMS platforms, online learning tools, and digital resources for training delivery. Experience delivering work-integrated learning or supporting students in placement programs. Knowledge of current legislation, ethical frameworks, and best practices in community services.
