About the Role Seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our Perth-based team with regular FIFO site visits. In this role, you’ll help ensure safety, compliance, and workforce capability across a range of innovative mining water infrastructure projects. You’ll deliver engaging training, conduct competency assessments (including RTO tickets and VOCs), and support a safety-first culture. Key Responsibilities Deliver and assess HRWL, RTO qualifications, and VOCs on-site Maintain and update Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Training Matrix in MYOSH Develop and implement training aligned with current industry and safety standards Coordinate with project managers and external training providers Ensure accurate training records and compliance with relevant regulations Stay up to date with industry trends, especially around sustainable mining Successful Applicants Must Have: 3 years of experience in a FIFO Trainer and Assessor role (mining or construction preferred) Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110 with TAELLN411 and TAEASS502) Construction White Card Valid Driver’s Licence Poly Welding and Earthworks Machinery tickets and experience highly regarded Affiliation with an RTO to issue RII tickets highly beneficial Strong communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset About PPS Water Group PPS Water Group delivers end-to-end project solutions across Australia, specialising in pipeline construction, water infrastructure, and technical services for the mining industry.
