Expressions of Interest Dive Technician Traineeship Are you mechanically minded and passionate about the diving and marine industry? We are currently seeking expressions of interest for up to two Dive Technician Trainee roles within our commercial diving operations. Indianic Group Pty Ltd is a leading WA based commercial diving business which has successfully undertaken marine inspection, construction and maintenance works up and down Australia’s west coast for the past 20 years. Our key customers include the best of Australia’s miners, port authorities and defence players. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. As a Commercial Dive Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of commercial diving equipment, including helmets, regulators, compressors, umbilicals, and communication systems. You will assist with equipment inspections, fault diagnosis, pressure testing, and ensuring all gear meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications. These roles are offered as traineeships, with the successful candidate(s) undertaking a Certificate II or III Dive Technician qualification in collaboration with South Metropolitan TAFE. This nationally recognised qualification will provide you with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to excel in the field, while gaining valuable on-the-job experience. Beyond the traineeship, you can grow your career within Indianic’s diving, construction and marine operations teams. We’re looking for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork. Previous experience in commercial diving or equipment maintenance is advantageous but not essential—enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
