We are looking for an APS4 Practice Officer to work with our client in Lismore. This is a fantastic opportunity in the Federal Government space. Anticipated duration: 12-month labour hire role Location: Lismore, NSW Rate: $55 per hour super Mandatory Requirements: Must currently hold, or can obtain, a Working with Vulnerable People registration or a Working with Children Check Work Rights: Australian citizenship is required as candidates must be able to obtain baseline clearance Responsibilities: Provide front-of-house and administrative support across all service delivery streams, including data entry and record keeping. Deliver administrative support to operational tasks as directed by the regional Practice Manager. Act as the first escalation point for clients, contracted health providers, and external stakeholder queries. Coordinate the administrative requirements for client referrals to internal and external providers, including managing data, correspondence, and client information across platforms and systems. Support the coordination of group programs and mental health literacy workshops. Assist with the administrative induction and training of new employees and contracted health providers. Undertake financial management tasks, including drafting procurement documentation, processing invoices, reconciling payments, and tracking expenditure. Provide office management support for centre and regional property resources, assets, IT, and travel requirements. Assist the Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager with reporting, quality assurance, compliance, audits, and operational data. Build rapport and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. Contribute to the overall mission and business objectives of the organisation. Our Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated professional experience in business operations and supporting service delivery within a health service and/or government environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across diverse stakeholder groups. Highly organised, with sound administrative and problem-solving skills.
