Known for strong supplier relationships, a supportive culture, and a commitment to quality, they are now seeking to appoint a Sales Manager – VIC in what is a critical hire for the business. About the Role This role is all about building and strengthening long-term customer relationships. The successful candidate will partner closely with distribution & transmission utilities, contractors, and key energy industry stakeholders across Victoria. The position is primarily field-based (4.5 days per week on the road, 0.5 days in the office) and requires a solutions-focused, relationship-driven salesperson who thrives on growing market share and creating value. We are looking for someone who is: A good listener with a genuine interest in understanding customer needs; Solutions-oriented, able to translate technical requirements into practical outcomes; Relationship-focused, building trust and partnerships for the long term; Experienced in or exposed to the power/energy sector, particularly utilities and contractors; and Commercially astute, passionate, and motivated to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Drive new business development and account growth across VIC; Build strong relationships with utilities, energy companies, and industrial contractors; Identify competitor conversion opportunities and new market trends; Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and timely follow-ups on all quotes; Manage pipeline growth, forecasting, and deliver against agreed sales budgets; and Collaborate internally to develop tailored customer solutions. About You 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management (industrial/technical background preferred). Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills. Exposure to the power, energy, or utilities sector will be highly regarded.
