That’s why we need a high-performing Communications Specialist to join our team. Requirements At Cadmus, we’re doing a lot of great work rapidly to create a profound impact on our world through the power of education. With Cadmus currently being used in 50 countries, we’re looking for a Communications Specialist who is passionate about content creation to join our learning marketing team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, our Communications Specialist will: Content Creation : Write, edit, and proofread communication materials, including but not limited to press releases, articles, blog posts, newsletters, speeches, and sales collateral in order to increase the known capabilities of Cadmus’s product. Media Relations : Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, university stakeholders, media representatives, including journalists, bloggers, and reporters, to promote positive coverage of the Employer’s products, services, or initiatives. The Employee will also respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews or press conferences when necessary. Internal Communications : Prepare and distribute internal communications, including product updates, company announcements, and organisational updates, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company’s objectives. Public Relations Campaigns: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of public relations campaigns, including drafting press materials. Crisis Communications: Assist with the development and execution of crisis communication strategies, including preparing statements, responding to inquiries, and ensuring the consistent delivery of messaging during sensitive situations. Brand Management: Ensure that all communication materials are aligned with the company’s branding guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels. Event Coordination: Support the planning and coordination of company events, conferences, or promotional activities that require strategic communications in order to support campaign development, campaign narrative and tone of voice, stakeholder outreach copy, and any public relations opportunities off the back of events to maximise awareness. Reporting and Analytics: Track media coverage, social media activity, and communication metrics, providing the tracking and reporting on strategic communications initiatives in order to support overarching marketing departmental and organisational success.
