The Role This pivotal executive leadership role is responsible for driving the national client strategy and business development agenda. The CCO will be instrumental in transforming the firm’s market-facing functions, leading a fundamental shift towards a sophisticated, client-centric growth engine. Operating in a dynamic partnership environment and reporting to the CEO, the CCO will be central to embedding a client-first mindset across the firm. This includes enhancing brand positioning, building market-leading client experiences, and equipping Partners and teams to deepen relationships and win in a competitive and evolving market. Qualifications You are a seasoned commercial leader with experience developing growth strategies and client functions within complex B2B or professional services environments. You thrive in partnership-led organisations, know how to influence across senior stakeholder groups, and bring a passion for elevating client engagement and delivering tangible commercial outcomes. You have led multidisciplinary teams and know how to unify marketing, BD and client experience under a shared vision for growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the national client strategy, aligning marketing, BD and CX teams behind a clear, measurable growth agenda Deliver integrated go-to-market programs in collaboration with Partners and sector leads Oversee strategic account management to strengthen relationships with the firm’s most valuable clients Guide brand and communications strategy, elevating the firm’s visibility and market profile Drive client listening and feedback programs to ensure services are aligned to client needs Champion a collaborative, client-first culture across all levels of the business Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of 60 client, marketing and BD professionals The Offer A newly created executive leadership role at a pivotal time in the firm’s evolution Direct remit to shape national client strategy and drive go-to-market execution Close partnership with the CEO, Partners and Board to influence firmwide direction A platform to lead and inspire a large national team across key growth functions Flexibility for the role to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or another major capital city A competitive executive remuneration package We anticipate a high volume of interest for this opportunity and encourage expressions of interest to be submitted directly.
