Growth & Marketing Director / Chief Marketing Officer Overview This is the role you’ve been building towards – full control, big ambition, serious firepower, a committed founder, and the chance to build a $100M growth marketing machine from scratch. Beaver Group is seeking a Growth & Marketing Director / Chief Marketing Officer to design and run the $100M growth engine behind a fast-growing group of industrial businesses—with global reach, direct founder access, and serious commercial impact. What You’ll Own Marketing strategy – 3-year growth & marketing roadmap across every business and brand. Build the team – hire and lead A-players across growth, content, product marketing, and ops. Brand architecture – strategy, positioning and key messaging for all brands. Content engine – build a high-quality content production engine across all target media & platforms. Demand gen – warm outreach, cold outreach, organic content, paid ads – tested, measured, scaled. Funnel design – offers, lead magnets, landing pages, nurture sequences, automation, CRO. Sales enablement – deal sequences, nurture content, and tools that lift win rates and deal velocity. Customer marketing – programs to nurture, retain and grow share of wallet in existing accounts. Product marketing – value proposition, segmentation, go-to-market strategy, new product ideas. Employer brand & recruitment marketing – attract A-player talent to all group businesses. M&A marketing – build acquisition deal flow and integrate acquired businesses fast. Tech stack – all customer-facing systems across marketing, sales, and support. Data & optimisation – track what matters, optimise relentlessly, double down on high ROI activities. Who You Are You’re not just a ‘marketer’. You’re a growth expert who moves the needle. You'd describe yourself as: Strategic and tactical – you can design the system, and run it too. Commercially obsessed – you live by your results (hard numbers, not fluffy cloud BS). Direct and decisive – no pointless meetings or chit-chat, just action and outcomes. Data-driven – you run the growth machine by the numbers, not by 'feels'. Hungry to build – ambitious, competitive, and looking to help build an empire. Experience 10 years' driving growth marketing in high-performance environments. You’ve built and led high-performing internal teams (not just managing agencies). You’ve probably worked for demanding founders scaling private companies (yes – those crazy types). Ideally you’ve also got some good brand & content experience – you know what good looks like. And for a unicorn, experience scaling B2B companies in complex technical sales environments. We will also consider a Head-level role for earlier-career high-potential candidate who can grow into this Director / CMO level role within 3 years. What’s In It For You?
