As AtkinsRéalis Australia embarks on expansion into the Defence industry, the Senior Consultant will be an integral part of enabling a Defence business in Australia. Supported by a mature global team, the successful candidate will benefit from guidance and experience of technical leads from other parts of the global business to grow the Australian business. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of relevant consultancy assignments undertaken for clients including allocation, estimating, tendering, planning, execution and close out. Develop strategies to grow AtkinsRéalis’s product & service range offering in Defence Consulting expertise. Manage the relationship with the client organisation. Ensure that work is completed in a safe and profitable manner, on time, to budget and to the client\'s satisfaction. Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with AtkinsRéalis’s procedures, corporate requirements and systems, including the Quality Management System and the Safety Management System. Providing specialist engineering guidance and expertise, including as the interface to global Subject Matter Experts. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Knowledge of Defence market in Australia and associated key stakeholders would be highly advantageous. Experience and competence with consulting best practice, else the ability to guide, check and approve others outputs. Experience in managing teams of technical SMEs, including input from remote/global SMEs within a project delivery environment. Excellent technical, project management and communication skills to manage the delivery of strategic and technical advisory engagements. Demonstrable experience in nuclear implicated design and maintenance of infrastructure planning or platform systems development and optioneering (desirable, not essential).
