Nielsen is in growth mode and seeking two passionate and driven individuals to join our Advertiser team as a Senior Manager Business Development, with a strong focus on the rapidly evolving media ecosystem. Responsibilities Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within advertisers with a primary focus on driving growth for Nielsen’s media measurement solutions. Proactively engage with senior client stakeholders and decision makers to deliver high-impact commercial initiatives focused on growth for Nielsen’s media measurement solutions. Collaborate closely with Nielsen commercial leads to achieve ambitious revenue targets. Serve as the lead day-to-day point of contact for client enquiries, building and maintaining strong relationships. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on in-depth market analyses of media trends and industry knowledge. Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Operations, Data Science, Finance, and Legal to ensure alignment on business opportunities and needs. Stay at the forefront of media measurement and technological advancements and explore their potential applications for Nielsen's offerings. Maintain a comprehensive working understanding of all Nielsen Media products and solutions, and where they fit into the media ecosystem. Work arrangement: hybrid role with 3 days in the office. Qualifications Tertiary education in Media, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 4 years of demonstrable experience in an agency, publisher, or advertiser environment, with a strong understanding of the media ecosystem across planning, digital activation and measurement. Proven expertise in the AU media industry and comprehensive understanding of current market trends, especially CTV. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex media, digital concepts clearly. Proficient in relevant digital software and tools (e.g. CRM systems like Salesforce/SAP, advanced data analytics platforms, ad servers). Strong proficiency with sales tools including Sales prospecting tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and lead enrichment tools (e.g. Zoominfo). Ability to strategically prioritise and manage multiple client demands in a fast-paced media and digital landscape. Proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow revenue for Nielsen media solutions and championing company initiatives. Strong skills across Google Workspace applications.
