Our IT team plays a vital role in delivering secure, reliable, and innovative technology services that support the operations of the Australian Human Rights Commission. They manage the Commission's IT infrastructure, encompassing both cloud-based and on-premises systems, to ensure uninterrupted access to critical applications, network services, and data management platforms. We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator with a strong background in Microsoft Power platform to join our team to provide technical support and hands-on development within the Commission's Microsoft Power Platform environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint. In this role, you will also provide the generalist IT support to Commission staff, assisting with common technical issues and contributing to the efficient and secure operation of core systems. This full-time, ongoing / non ongoing position offers a competitive salary range of $94,563 - $105,910 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation. We offer flexible, hybrid and remote work options. The key duties of the position include What You'll Do: Provide technical and administrative support for the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint. Assist with the design, build, testing, and refinement of low-code apps, workflows, and dashboards under the guidance of the senior platform administrator. Support governance processes for the platform, including access controls, data integrity, and documentation. Troubleshoot platform issues, liaise with users to understand requirements, and provide responsive issue resolution and guidance. Deliver day-to-day IT support to staff, resolving incidents across hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 environments. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and device Preparation. Work closely with IT team members to identify opportunities for automation, digitisation, and system improvements. Apply best practice security, privacy and data handling approaches in line with APS and organisational policies. Ensure platform and system use supports accessibility, usability, and effective service delivery for staff and stakeholders.
