About your role: Manage an appropriate caseload using effective time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate patient records and documentation. Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with consumers and their carers, other health professionals, students, and external agencies to achieve a consumer centred approach, utilising negotiation, and conflict resolution skills as required. Maintain the safety of consumers of the mental health and AOD service by identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks as well as proactively contributing to safe work practices in a clinical practice environment. Promote consideration of discipline specific interventions within the multi-disciplinary team. Contribute to the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of a broad range of treatment and prevention activities to promote recovery from mental illness.
