Western Welding Services, located in Bibra Lake, is seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrical Fitter to join their team. The business is part of South Pacific Welding and BOC – a member of The Linde Group, a world-leading supplier of industrial, process and specialty gases, welding equipment, and engineering services. Western Welding Services supplies new welding machines and consumables, provides servicing and repairs, and offers welding machine hire. About the Role The successful apprentice will be trained and supported in a variety of tasks, including: Diagnosing faults in welding machines and other electrical equipment Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings Testing and calibrating welding equipment Assembling and testing new welding machines prior to delivery Maintaining a clean work area and assisting qualified Electrical Fitters The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will: Have a genuine interest in electrical machine repairs Be enthusiastic and keen to learn Be suitable for both school leavers and mature-age applicants Not require previous experience – just a positive attitude and willingness to work Essential Requirements A valid Driver’s Licence is required due to the location of the workshop This is a great opportunity for someone ready to start a hands-on career in the electrical trade!
