About the Role The successful candidate will undertake a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens while gaining hands-on experience in the field. Working alongside experienced professionals, the apprentice will be involved in: Maintaining parks, gardens, and landscaped areas Operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and hedge cutters Performing general gardening tasks including weeding, edging, and mulching Assisting with irrigation system maintenance and repairs Supporting landscape improvement projects Learning industry best practices and developing technical skills Ideal Candidate Attributes Gecko Contracting is looking for someone who is: Enthusiastic about horticulture, gardening, or landscaping Willing to learn and take on hands-on training Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic A team player with good communication skills Essential Requirements Current driver’s licence Construction White Card If this sounds like you, apply now!
