About the Role As the DC Manager, you’ll oversee and drive the daily operations of a large-scale facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods through receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, improving operational efficiencies, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end DC activities, including online fulfillment, click-and-collect, and returns. Maintain accurate inventory through stocktakes and cycle counts while ensuring stock integrity. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 20 staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment. Drive operational standards, implement best practices, and monitor performance against KPIs. Develop and manage work rosters, ensuring labour hire and operational costs remain within budget. Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, freight companies, and customers. Oversee warehouse layout design to optimise space utilisation and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while promoting a culture of safety excellence. About You We’re looking for a strategic, resilient, and hands-on leader with the following qualifications and experience: Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 years of experience in distribution or warehouse management, including supervisory roles. Skills & Expertise Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of DC operations. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for team development. Proficiency in Google Office apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is highly regarded. Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
