Head of Faith and Formation Living Faith Lutheran Primary School is seeking to employ a Head of Faith and Formation in a permanent, full-time capacity, commencing January 2026. Responsibilities and impact The Head of Faith and Formation is a passionate, driven, organised and adaptable person with a heart for mission and service. As we expand and purposefully pursue our strategic directions, this executive leadership role requires initiative and adaptability, qualities that will be crucial to achieving our school’s vision. The role reports to the Principal and will demonstrate strong pastoral care, service learning, strategic thinking, quality communication and leadership skills. The successful applicant will be self-driven, able to work independently with initiative and take direction. The Head of Faith and Formation requires a high level of competence in a wide range of areas, including pastoral care, daily organisation, people and culture management and communications skills. Experience in the operations and culture of a school environment is essential, and active involvement in the life of the school is required. The ability to uphold the ethos of the school and support the teaching of the Lutheran Church of Australia must be demonstrated. This role oversees the development and delivery of faith-based programs, worship, and service opportunities, while supporting the spiritual growth and wellbeing of students, staff, and families. Working in partnership with the Principal and Church Pastor, the Head of Faith and Formation nurtures a Christ-centred culture where the school’s mission and values are evident in teaching, relationships, and community engagement.
