Their architecturally designed, boutique space boasts a light-filled front bar, relaxed pub dining, a cosy lounge and fireplace setting, private function areas and guest accommodation. The George Hotel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Spa Managers to join their team. Duties, and Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s spa and wellness centre, ensuring smooth, professional, and efficient service delivery. Manage spa bookings and treatment schedules to optimise customer satisfaction. Monitor spa presentation and cleanliness, ensuring all areas, equipment, and treatment rooms are maintained in accordance with health, hygiene, and safety standards. Maintain adequate stock levels of spa products and consumables and manage inventory control. Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure the highest customer satisfaction. Implement and enforce workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures, infection control protocols, and internal policies. Monitor staff rosters, attendance, and performance, and coordinate shift coverage during busy periods or staff absences. Recruit, supervise, and provide ongoing support and training to spa staff. Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to senior hotel management. Assist in the development and promotion of spa packages, seasonal offers, and value-added guest experiences. Skills and Experience: Relevant qualification At least one year of relevant experience Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong knowledge of a broad range of spa and beauty treatments, equipment, and premium skincare products. Strong time management and organisational skills. Sound knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements and ability to ensure compliance across spa operations. High level of personal presentation.
