Their architecturally designed, boutique space boasts a light-filled front bar, relaxed pub dining, a cosy lounge and fireplace setting, private function areas and guest accommodation. The George Hotel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Waiter (Food and Beverage Attendant) to join their team. Duties, and Responsibilities: Assist customers by greeting them warmly, taking food and beverage orders accurately, serving meals promptly and professionally, addressing enquiries and concerns politely and efficiently and processing bills through the cash register. Setting tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring proper hygiene standards are upheld throughout the shift. Ensuring proper handling and storage of food and beverages to maintain the health and safety of customers and other team members. Working effectively with chefs, bartenders, and other team members to deliver a seamless dining experience. Presenting menu recommendations and specials in a professional and persuasive manner to increase sales. Projecting a friendly and helpful attitude while remaining professional and courteous in all interactions to ensure customer satisfaction. Skills and Experience: At least 1 year of experience. Experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds. The ability to remain calm in a busy environment is vital. Strong organisational and time management skills to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple tasks efficiently.
