We are currently seeking an experienced and highly people-focused State Manager for a national civil construction machinery business to lead and drive strategic growth across the WA operations. This is a pivotal role for a business entering an exciting phase of expansion, with a strong focus on developing a collaborative team culture, implementing the business's growth strategy whilst increasing operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 20 direct reports across sales and operations, including logistics, workshop, and administration, and will report directly to head office in Melbourne. This role is highly influential in shaping team culture, implementing operational improvements, and ensuring the successful execution of the growth strategy, including the relocation to a new purpose-built facility in Forrestdale upon completion. Key Responsibilities: Communicate change effectively while fostering a culture of collaboration, empathy, and team focus. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. Drive sales performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and deliver measurable outcomes. Key Requirements: Proven track record in sales management, operational leadership, and team development. Experience leading change and executing growth strategies in medium-to-large organisations. Commercially minded, with a growth-focused approach and the ability to make data-driven decisions. High energy, resilience, and a hands-on approach to leadership. Willingness to be hands-on, provide sales coaching, and assist in closing high-level negotiations.
