We offer clients a reliable on-going planned preventative maintenance, repair and calibration service of medical equipment. The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Biomedical Workshop Technician with a ‘can do’ attitude, who will be an important asset to our team. You will be responsible for delivering biomedical engineering services according to Australian Medical Standards and to manufacturer's specifications to ensure the safe and effective use of healthcare technology for our clients. Reporting to the Service Manager, your main responsibilities include: Providing a quality service according to all electro-medical and Australian Standards, whilst achieving best practice in all areas.Calibration, maintenance and repair of medical equipment.Compiling a clear and detailed report for every service and repair.Reporting faults to clients.Technical phone and email support to clients in a timely and knowledgeable manner.Providing excellent customer service, whilst building strong working relationships, to our valued client base.Advising clients on the purchase of new equipment.Packing and posting all repairs via Courier or for client collection.Ensuring required parts and tools are on hand in the workshop to complete daily tasks.Providing back-up support in the field for planned preventative maintenance and repair.Field work and travel opportunities as required. If you have the following skills and experience then we want to hear from you! A minimum of a Diploma in Electronics or equivalent.Minimum 2 years experience with electronic equipment repairs and fault finding. Excellent personal skills for providing a top quality and friendly service to our customers. High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage your time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Confident to work autonomously, as well as being a team player. A flexible attitude, willingness to help out the team and being able to think on your feet.Experience in a biomedical field and knowledge of Sterilisers will be highly regarded. Competent technical knowledge and skill in the use and function of biomedical equipment and test instruments. It is essential you possess the following: A current WA driver's Licence and access to your own car.A current WA Police Clearance.Yearly Flu vaccination.Full working rights in Australia.
