Experience Western Downs It's the people that make it The Opportunity The Senior Ticket Seller is responsible for operations in both the box office and candy bar, overseeing ticket and retail sales. This role is tasked with ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for customers to enjoy their cinematic experience, with a primary focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities which may vary as directed by Council. The key ones include: (1) Opening and preparing the candy bar and box office areas. Processing retail sales through Point-of-Sales system (2) Undertaking general cleaning to ensure all areas associated with the cinema are always maintained at a high level (3) Provide high level customer service to patrons (4) Other duties to support management as directed. (5) Providing supervision of Junior Ticket Sellers About Yourself It is desirable but not essential for the successful candidate to have previous experience in cash handling, an understanding of Point-of-Sale systems in the retail/hospitality sector and familiarity with computers for data entry and reporting. This position requires manual handling and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a National Criminal History Police Check.
