The Role We're seeking motivated and reliable Forklift Drivers to join a busy horticultural packhouse in Gumlu, QLD. Working as part of an energetic and safety-conscious team, you'll play a key role in supporting packing operations by loading, unloading, and moving produce, packaging, and equipment. This is a physical, hands-on role where attention to safety and efficiency is essential. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll be responsible for operating forklifts to move produce, packaging, and equipment safely and effectively. Duties include but are not limited to: Loading and unloading picking booms, trailers, bin tippers, and trucks Stacking picking bins and placing them in coldroom or storage areas Using forklifts to palletise and stage orders Scanning bins into packing batches and completing relevant monitoring records Bringing pallets of packaging to the shed as required Managing bulk bins and rubbish bins, including set-up and removal Moving and unloading CHEP pallets and delivery trucks Refilling spare LPG bottles as needed Adhering to all food hygiene and forklift safety rules Benefits $33.19 per hour plus penalty rates 3-month role with potential for ongoing seasonal work 38 hours per week across 6 days during packhouse operations Supportive and collaborative team environment Great opportunity to develop further forklift and packhouse skills Your Skills & Experience To be successful, you'll need: A current Australian Forklift Licence Flexibility to work 6 days per week when required A strong work ethic and commitment to safety Previous packhouse or horticultural experience (advantageous but not essential) Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
