About the Role The Lead Teacher – Teaching and Learning is a senior member of our schoolwide team and plays a critical role in leading curriculum and professional learning across all campuses. $125K (pro rata) Super Salary Packaging Full-time, Fixed Term (12-month contract for the 2026 school year) Hybrid, Regular travel across all Berry Street School campuses (Ballarat, Morwell, Narre Warren, Shepparton) Key responsibilities include: Lead curriculum planning, assessment and reporting for Years 7–10 across the school Guide the implementation of the Schoolwide Curriculum Framework Lead schoolwide strategies in literacy and numeracy data collection and analysis Coordinate key academic programs including NAPLAN, MacqLit and Maths Mastery Drive instructional coaching, professional development and staff mentoring Support the delivery of the Annual Implementation Plan and Strategic Plan priorities Support the development and inclusion of diversity and wellbeing initiatives, including LGBTQIA and RAP working groups Model high-quality teaching through demonstration lessons and team collaboration Teach when required The role is hybrid and requires regular travel between all four campuses. It reports to the Assistant Principal – Teaching and Learning.
