We have a part-time fixed term opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated teacher to join our Languages Department teaching Indonesian to our Middle and Senior School students. This is a one-year contract commencing in January 2026. Our Languages centre, Wandjoo Miya – Centre for Global Citizenship, was opened in 2017 and has been designed to foster collaboration and cultural intelligence. In our world where we need to connect and work with others, the ability to communicate and collaborate interculturally is paramount. The Languages centre is a collaborative space where all languages students from Years 5-12 can explore different zones and find an environment that best supports their learning. Languages taught at the College are Indonesian, French and Mandarin, as well as Noongar in Pre-Primary. Our ideal candidate will: be a qualified teacher with tertiary qualifications in Indonesian, with TRBWA clearance, and be able to teach in WA; have the ability to teach Indonesian in the Middle and Senior years; be someone who is a collaborative and flexible professional; have experience in effectively managing the pastoral needs of students; be able to work effectively in a team environment; have good technology skills; and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with colleagues, parents and students. Participation in the pastoral, co-curricular and sporting life of the school is expected.
