The School is home to accredited professional programs in architecture and landscape architecture, as well as distinctive offerings in creative practice and art history. The Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the Dean and Head of School of Design will lead the School to deliver excellent teaching, research and community engagement. You will grow the School’s profile, strengthen industry and professional relationships, and support the continued success of its accreditation processes. The role includes mentoring staff, building leadership capability, and ensuring that all disciplines in the School are valued and supported. The Person We are seeking an accomplished academic leader with a record of achievement in a relevant discipline. You will have demonstrated success in leading academic teams, fostering a collaborative and collegial culture, and maintaining strong links with the respective professions. You will mentor and develop staff, build trust, and engage effectively with industry, government and community.
