Mars is on the hunt for a Trade Compliance Country Manager - ANZ to join our team in a newly created role. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Trade & Customs Compliance, you will help shape the future of trade compliance and make a lasting impact, all while collaborating with a highly engaged global team and a knowledgeable, inspiring manager. What you’ll do: Be the superhero of trade compliance for Australia and New Zealand, acting as the primary interface with freight forwarders, government agencies, and customs brokers. Design and implement compliance programs that would make even the strictest customs official smile. Conduct audits and develop strategies for cost avoidance that would impress even the most frugal of accountants. Lead initiatives in duty drawback and free trade agreements - because who doesn’t love a good deal? Share your wisdom by training Mars Associates on new trade policies, turning them into compliance champions! What we are looking for in candidates: Specialized knowledge in trade and customs compliance regulations for Australia/NZ Strong experience in complex CPG, legal, or consulting environments Broker’s License or Degree/Certificate in Compliance, International Logistics, Law, or related fields preferred What can you expect from Mars?
