About the role The Cairns Wellbeing Centre provides a welcome home away from home for patients and their carers, who travel from some of the most remote parts of Far North Queensland to receive medical treatment. In this role, you will provide support to guests through the coordination of reservations, monitoring building services, and supporting the health and safety of guests and security of the Centre. You will assist guests with their health and wellbeing needs and medical requirements whilst they are staying at the Centre. This role includes various shifts including day shifts, sleepover evening shifts, weekends and public holidays What you will bring Ability to communicate with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with sensitivity Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to coordinate administrative functions Ability to use initiative, take direction, work with minimum supervision and contribute as part of a team Sound knowledge in MS Office or similar packages and experience using databases Experience in handling financial transactions Experience in a community based or not for profit service is desirable Experience working in an office/hotel/health environment providing administrative support and reception services would be advantageous A current, employee Blue Card is a mandatory requirement Why work with us?
