The Opportunity We are looking to appoint an Account Manager based in metro Sydney to service some of our metropolitan and regional New South Wales retailers. Some interstate travel will be required. The role of an Account Manager at TEMPUR is to build strong relationships at all levels with our retail partners by working with them to understand their unique needs and educating them on our products and services. Account Managers are continually on the lookout for ways to optimise sales results and improve performance by promoting standards of excellence in all areas. This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced Account or Territory Manager with B2B experience in consumer products such as electronics, homewares, bedding or similar. Key Responsibilities To manage and build strong working relationships with retail and specialist customers. Implement sales and marketing initiatives which develop new and existing business. Act as an escalation point for our retail customers in the event of any issues, responding promptly and accurately and keeping them in the loop at all times. Promote stock and marketing offers to maximise sales growth. Maintain accurate stock records, including stock information which is used to generate re-stocking orders with retailers. Train and motivate retailer sales staff. Identify and promote opportunities to increase sales. Increase turnover and profitability. Key Competencies for Success Account Management and/or Sales experience within a retail environment possessing the ability to achieve sales targets. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong relationship building and communications skills.
