Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Monday: Afternoon, Evening Tuesday: Afternoon, Evening Wednesday: Afternoon, Evening Thursday: Afternoon, Evening Friday: Afternoon, Evening 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected salary: $28 - $35 per hour This is an immediate start position Flavorlab , a Wholesale Bakery in Newton is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team as a Warehouse Store Person / All Rounder . This role is on a casual basis 25-30 hrs p/week (Monday-Friday) with shifts starting from approx. 1pm until approx. 7pm. Day to day responsibilities will include: · Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently (cold storage environment) · Receiving stock deliveries and rotating stock (FIFO) · Operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks · Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive products · Maintaining a clean and organised work area · Cleaning of packing areas/dishes e.g. work benches, sinks, floors · General warehouse housekeeping & cleaning · Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures · Stocktaking and inventory checks · Supporting juniors, warehouse and kitchen with ad hoc duties as needed What We’re Looking For: · Positive attitude and the desire to learn & grow with our business · A strong work ethic and attention to detail · Reliable, punctual & physically fit (some heavy lifting required) · Previous experience in a warehouse environment as well as customer service · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Ability to work in a cold environment (temperature may vary) · Efficient and move with a sense of urgency · Good communication and organisational skills Why Join us? · Work-life balance (No weekend work) · Work in a friendly & supportive team · The opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and ever-growing industry · Positive vibes
